Florida Blue Key recognizes that strong competitors do not only come from schools with established programs. Many compete through clubs, or on their own, and our new competition policy opens a door to them. It creates a pathway for unaffiliated competitors and programs to participate while holding them to the same standards of supervision, accountability, and judging that every school-based entry meets. We have established a system of requirements to make that access workable and fair for all competitors. The aim is a deeper, more competitive field, more open to anyone prepared to earn their place in their events.
